She began her career studying Political Science at the University of Pittsburgh, working with PennPIRG, the Ford Institute, and as a canvasser in Pittsburgh. After joining People First in 2020, Valerie rose from junior organizer to a key architect of the company’s creator network, building internal referral systems, recruitment strategies, and technology that supports creator management. Today, she leads with a focus on operational excellence, team development, and building programs that drive measurable impact.
